Esterel Luxury Resort Quebec

After nearly four months being in Quarantine, Tahani and I got a chance to escape for the weekend. We made plans to venture to the serene and breathtaking Laurentines about 2.5hrs from Ottawa. We left early in the morning for Esterel Luxury Resort . This is a truly special spot and weather was just epic. Estérel Resort is bordered by three navigable lakes, lush Laurentian forest and a Nordic spa, Estérel Resort is bustling with activities for the entire year. It was so lovely to see familiar faces at the resort. I felt guilty to leave the kids at home but some girl time was needed.

Upon arrival we made a few reservations and I personally could not wait to visit the wine cellar at Bistro Champlain while Tahani was looking forward to the epic Foodie experience.

The Bistro à Champlain proudly moved to Estérel Resort. This process took months to prepare in order receive the precious wine bottles. A private collection by Champlain Charest with more than 20,000 bottles and 2,775 references. WOW

Bistro à Champlain is also a restaurant that offers a complete foodie experiences that live up to the reputation of its wine cellar. The chefs are truly artists and please the crowd every time.

After the first afternoon of exploring the property we decided to wake up reasonably early and go to the phenomenal buffet breakfast. The spread was so good. I had the most divine chia pudding, croissants, local jam and fruit.

We made our way down to the Lake to enjoy the sun and take advantage of Water Toys. The Activity passport is so worth it! There were motorboats for rental, paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and peddalboats.

What a day it was! The second nights dinner was at the ROK. This is a unique experience where you can cook at your table with a HOT STONE. I couldn’t help but think of my hubby and the kids. They are definitely going to want to go back there altogether soon. As you can tell I was truly relaxing and enjoying every minute in the sun.

I really wanted to book a few services at the Amerispa but it wasn’t opened yet. I have no doubt that the SPA will be open in the upcoming weeks. When I was at the Amerispa two years ago for my anniversary I was obsessed. The View is so stunning and the technicians were highly trained.
